वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥

  • Vakratunda: One with crooked trunk (special form of Lord Ganesha)
  • Mahakāya: Having a huge body
  • Suryakoti Samaprabh Bright like millions of suns
  • Nirvighnam Kuru Me Dev: Oh God! Make my work free from obstacles.
  • Sarvakaryashu Sarvada: In every task and at all times

  1. After bathing, wear clean clothes.
  2. Light a lamp in front of the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha.
