Maa Skandamata Aarti - Worship Of The Fifth Form Of Goddess Durga

Mother Skandamata is worshipped on the fifth day of Navratri. By getting her blessings, the devotee gets happiness, peace and prosperity. By singing this Aarti with devotion, the grace of Mother Skandamata remains and all the sorrows and sufferings of the devotees are removed. It is especially important during Navratri. The following is the Aarti performed during the worship of Mother Skandamata:

Jay sknd maataa, jay sknd maataa. Tum ho devee mahaavidyaa, sachche man se jo tujhe dhyaataa॥ jay sknd maataa, jay sknd maataa... Abheeṣṭ kaam puratee jo koii tujhe dhyaataa. Har snkaṭ mochan durgaa jay sknd maataa॥ jay sknd maataa, jay sknd maataa... Chaturbhujee maataa, jyoti svaroopiṇaee maataa. Sukh sampatti kee daataa jay sknd maataa॥ jay sknd maataa, jay sknd maataa... Dhyaan dharen jo tumhaaraa, karm-siddhi paa_e. Man vaanchhit fal paa_e, dukh se mukti paa_e॥ jay sknd maataa, jay sknd maataa... Sknd ko god men biṭhaayaa, roop niraalaa teraa. Rati vaibhav aur sukh, sab kuchh tujhase paayaa॥ jay sknd maataa, jay sknd maataa... Jis par kripaa tumhaaree, usako kaṣṭ n bhaaree.
