Form of Goddess Siddhidatri
Goddess Siddhidatri sits on a lotus seat and has four arms. She holds a mace, a discus, a conch, and a lotus. Her vehicle is a lion, and her form is extremely compassionate and gentle.Worship Method
- Take a bath in the morning and resolve to observe the fast.
- Install the idol or picture of Goddess Siddhidatri.
- Offer red flowers, whole grains, sandalwood paste, and incense.
- Offering white offerings to the Goddess, such as kheer, halwa, or coconut, is considered auspicious.
- Chant Devi Kavach, Siddhidatri Stuti, and Devi Mantras.
- There is a tradition of worshipping girls and feeding them on this day.
