Om Tulsyai Namah mantra is chanted during Tulsi Puja. Tulsi has immense religious and spiritual significance in Hinduism. It is considered sacred and is loved by Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Tulsi Puja brings purity, prosperity, and spiritual advancement in life.
Tulsi Puja Vidhi
Bath and purification: Before the puja, take a bath and wear clean clothes. Clean the place of worship where the Tulsi plant is placed. Offering water to the Tulsi plant: Take clean water and offer it to the Tulsi plant. You can add some Gangajal to the water and offer it to Tulsi. Chant "Om Tulsyai Namah" while offering water. Lighting the lamp Light a ghee lamp in front of the Tulsi plant. Doing this in the evening is considered especially fruitful. While lighting the lamp, chant mantras in dedication to Tulsi Mata, such as "Om Tulsyai Namah". Offer flowers and sandalwood Offer sandalwood, roli, akshat (rice), and fragrant flowers to the Tulsi plant. Recite "Om Tulsyai Namah" or other stotras of Tulsi Mata while offering these things. Parikrama (circumambulation) on Tulsi Circumambulating the Tulsi plant is considered auspicious. Circumambulate 1, 3, 7 or 11 times. Chant the mantra "Om Tulsyai Namah" while circumambulating. Offering naivedya (offerings) to Tulsi Mata, such as sugar candy, fruits or jaggery. Seek the grace and blessings of Tulsi Mata while offering prasad. Aarti and Prayers Perform the Aarti of Tulsi Mata and do any prayer or praise as per your wish.
