Aranyani Mata is worshipped as the goddess of forests and jungles in Hinduism. Aranyani literally means "Goddess of forests". She is considered to be the protector of nature, who protects flora and wildlife. Aranyani Mata is mentioned in various Puranas and Vedas.

Method of Puja

Bath and Sankalp: Take a bath in the morning, wear clean clothes and take a pledge to worship Aranyani Mata.

Preparation of the place of worship: Install the idol or picture of Aranyani Mata in a clean place. If possible, do the puja in the forest or garden.

Worship material: Arrange flowers, incense, lamps, fruits, and naivedya (offering) for the puja.

Puja and Aarti: Light incense, lamps and offer flowers in front of the idol or picture of Aranyani Mata. Perform Aarti and praise the mother.

Resolution of nature conservation: After the puja, take a pledge to protect nature and the environment. Plant trees and protect wildlife.

It is said that Aranyani Mata protects trees and gives life to plants. People who cut trees or destroy forests face the wrath of Aranyani Mata. Therefore, planting trees and protecting forests is an important part of Aranyani Mata worship.

Aranyani Mata is the protector of wildlife. She protects animals living in forests and provides them food. People who hunt or harm wildlife face the wrath of Aranyani Mata.
