Shani mntr (shani mantra) bhagavaan shani ko samarpit ek pavitr mntr hai, jinhen hindoo dharm men shree shani dev yaa bhagavaan shani ke naam se bhee jaanaa jaataa hai. Bhagavaan shani ko ek aisaa devataa maanaa jaataa hai jo anushaasan, karm aur kisee ke kaaryon ke prabhaav sahit jeevan ke sakaaraatmak aur chunauteepoorṇa donon pahaluon ko prabhaavit karate hain. Bhakt aksar apanee janmakunḍaalee yaa kunḍaalee men shani ke duṣprabhaav se unakaa aasheervaad aur surakṣaa paane ke lie shani mntr kaa jaap karate hain, kyonki aisaa maanaa jaataa hai ki bhagavaan shani kaa prabhaav baadhaa_en aur kaṭhinaa_iyaan laa sakataa hai.
