Mythological story of Maa Baglamukhi
According to the legend, once there was a huge upheaval in the creation. Storms, disasters and destructive situations arose all around. Due to this, all the gods, sages and humans became extremely frightened. The balance on earth started deteriorating and religion started declining.
The gods all approached Lord Vishnu for a solution. Lord Vishnu said, "This problem can only be solved by Adishakti Maa Baglamukhi. With her grace, peace and balance will be restored in the creation."
Then the gods went to Haridra Sarovar (reservoir with yellow soil) to worship Maa Baglamukhi. There he invoked Maa Baglamukhi. Pleased with his devotion and penance, Maa Baglamukhi appeared. Her form was radiant and divine.
Maa Baglamukhi assured her devotees and stopped the destructive storm with her divine power. She again balanced the universe. Also, Maa blessed that whoever worships her with a true heart will conquer the enemies and get peace and success in life.

"Om Hleem Bagalamukhi Sarvadushtanaam Vaachan Mukh Padam Stambhay Jivahan Keelay Budhim Vinashaya Hleem Om Swaha."
